Website Update: Product Lists Improved
We have been quietly making a few changes to the Orchard Stables website over the last week and have now ‘gone live’ with our efforts. As well as a number of minor improvements and changes to the way the site works behind the scenes, the major change for customers is the way that products are listed within the store departments and within the featured products section of the homepage.
From this morning products listed on all department pages, as well as across a number of other pages on the site, will be laid out in a grid, replacing the old tables which only showed one product per row.
As well as being more attractive, this new layout allows customers to browse more products per page as well as allowing us to display larger product images.
As ever customers are presented with buttons for ‘More Info’ which will navigate to the product information page and ‘Buy Now’ which will add the product directly to the shopping cart, unless the product has options which need to be selected, in which case it will also navigate to the product information page. If a product is currently out of stock we will remove the ability to add it to the shopping cart whilst still providing a link to the product information page via the ‘More Info’ button as can be seen for the Oster Course Curry Comb in the picture above.
We hope that you like the new layout and that it makes finding products even easier. If you have any feedback we would love to hear from you either by leaving a comment or by contacting us via any of the details listed on the website.
